Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is a new way for companies to utilize the internet for backups, storage, the visualization of operating system's, and so much more. Industry experts foresee that this trend will continue to grow over the next few years. Some of the benefits of cloud computing are its cost efficiency, its "almost" infinite storage, its ability to perform back up and recovery procedures, and automatic software integration. While all of these are great features cloud computing also has a few downsides. Technical issues, security issues, and the proneness to attack are a few to note. As with all new technology you have to outweigh the odds in what you are willing to gain and what you are willing to risk. Technology can prove to be a great asset to your company, it could also cause harm if not understood and used properly.
